Why a Sports Drink?

Making up around 60% of our body weight, water is a key component to maintaining health and preventing dehydration consequences such as headaches, fatigue, and even nausea. When we exercise, we need to replace fluid lost in sweat. A crucial role of fluids in performance is to enable our blood to easily transport nutrients around our body, which are essential to keep our muscles fuelled and oxygenated.

When mixed with water to the correct concentration, PURE Electrolyte Hydration will assist with ensuring adequate fluid intake during exercise and help prevent or treat mild dehydration that may occur as a result of sustained strenuous exercise.

Formulated with key electrolytes; sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, PURE Electrolyte Hydration helps to replace electrolytes lost during exercise & sweating. In a performance context, these 4 electrolytes play a pivotal role in water balance, supporting the nervous system and functioning of muscles.

Carbohydrates in sports drink also can assist with faster rehydration and energy requirements during exercise. PURE Electrolyte Hydration is designed to rapidly replace energy during exercise. Formulated with a specific blend of sucrose and glucose it is fast absorbing, tummy-friendly and not sickly sweet, making it easy to drink at full strength.

How Much and When

When exercise lasts longer than 60 minutes, a sports drink should be considered to replace lost fluid and electrolytes. Begin any exercise session well hydrated to limit dehydration and associated fatigue.

Specific fluid recommendations can vary from approximately 500ml to upwards of 1000ml per hour depending on the intensity and length of your training. The amount of fluid you require can also change depending on the weather, if it's hot, you'll need to drink more.

You can train your body to accept more fluids, so use your training sessions to practice drinking higher quantities in case its warmer on race day.

Everything You Need, Nothing You Don't

PURE Electrolyte Hydration is a natural isotonic electrolyte sports drink base flavoured with real freeze-dried fruit powders and juices, no nasties, no artificial colours or preservatives just all natural flavours.

At PURE we focus on sports science and the nutrient quality of the ingredients we use and use only the best, highest quality, natural ingredients available. PURE Electrolyte Hydration is developed in-house allowing us to carefully test and refine our formulations, making sure that every flavour meets our high standards for taste and performance.

When used to fuel exercise some carbohydrates can cause stomach upsets due to their slower digestion processes. At PURE we use carbohydrates designed to be easily digested and to quickly fuel muscles without upsetting your stomach.

Love love , fresh, not to sweat or salty

Love love , fresh, not to sweat or salty. Texture is also good. Iv just been on a hydration journey trying all the halthyish ones. So far this brand is been the top for me. Taste n texture wise. Oh and it also sat in my tummy the best. Others can make me vommit. So grateful I trialled the mixed pack first to see what flavour was for me. Oh and I loved the bottle.

best electrolyte i've used for flavour fatigue - the dried lemon works really well at keeping things fresh. its pretty high in carbs as well - which means less gels per hour. Win-Win

Perfect Hydration 😃

Compaired to other electrolyte drinks on the market this one knocks them out of the park for how palletable it is. It subtle on the sweetness and I can't taste any saltiness. It is extra handy that the powder form means I don't need to carry a bottle of liquid around. fantastic innovation PURE team!
