RECOMMENDED USE: Use 15 minutes prior to activity, then every 30-40 minutes during exercise. Maximum daily intake 10 serves.

How Much & When?

Science tells us that consuming 30-60 grams + of carbs per hour (even higher in ultra endurance activities), within a session, will enhance performance. Although it may feel early, this should be started in the very first hour, ideally 10-15 min pre start. We generally suggest 1-2 gels hourly on top of your electrolyte hydration but trial this in training and adjust to suit you.

PURE Energy Gels are designed to provide fast fuel during exercise in a no-fuss easy-to-use way. PURE gels have carbs in the form of maltodextrin, which is absorbed quickly and used as muscle fuel. Most sports gels on the market are hard to consume with their sticky consistency, taste artificial and can be sickly sweet making them difficult to use for long periods while training and racing.

PURE Energy Gels are of a thicker, more traditional consistency than our fluid gels, designed for snacking on, great for evenly spreading out your fuel intake.

Love love love, definitely going to get again

Tip Tuesday!!

recently found an unbelievable hack with these gels. I've been adding them in my bottles on my long brick sessions and adding 4x gels per bottle and havent felt this good for some time. Its managed to keep my hydration levels at bay and also kept me focus and locked in due to its caffeine content Ive said it before and ill say it again. These are THE Gels to use!

Great flavour not too sweet, easy to open whilst running , consistency is perfect as it’s not gluggy and easy to consume and tolerate when the going gets tough in the late stages of my marathon and the added benefit of the caffeine seems to give me just the boost I’m needing ,

My go to gels, consistency is quite thin (liquidy) rather than thick so it goes down easy no matter how far into training runs I am.

Pure is by far the most palatable exercise nutrition I have found (apart from bananas). After lots of trials and errors over many decades running I am very happy to have found the PURE gels and Electrolyte drinks. They taste great and the flavours are different so I gets different tastes while on long or very long runs.

Raspberry + Caffeine for the win! Great for long runs!

Used this gel on a few ultra trail runs and it's a great 'pick me up' with the added caffeine when I start to lag in the second half! Also, I love the flavour and that it is not too sweet. The consistency makes it very easy to swallow, along with a good glug of water shortly before or after.

Only drills that I can stomach. New flavour and it’s quite good as well
